Retro 70's Fairytale Bling!!

Last week was my birthday, so yesterday I did a photo shoot as a tribute to all of my friends in thanks for the wonderful birthday I had and all the amazing gifts they gave me. The shoot was a mashed up theme that we can only describe as retro 70's fairytale bling.

Now let me fill you in...my birthday is kind of a big deal. I'm not going to lie, I was very spoiled as a little girl so I grew accustomed to my birthday being an extravagant affair. Both my parents were the oldest children in their families and both had many brothers and sisters, thus I was for a time the only child out of all my relatives. Needless to say, I got a lot of attention. Every year in July for my birthday my whole family would gather together to celebrate and I would be showered with gifts.  I will try to find some photos of me when I was younger so you can all see the little princess that I was. So basically I have grown up thinking my birthday is practically a national holiday. If I don't have my cake, gifts, celebrations and friends and family paying attention to me...I will be PISSED!! Now that you understand the importance of my birthday, I would like to thank everyone who made it such a special day!

Thank you to Louise and Jérémie for the Vanessa B. bracelets! They are so Jack Sparrow-esque and match perfectly with my bling bracelets! They are a made with raw stones and a skull bone detail.

I love the mix of materials on this 3.1 Phillip Lim bag!  Such a cool combination of velvet, studs and a bow. Thank you so much to my girls MarieNadia and Dee Dee.

I have been coveting these shoes from Giuseppe Zanotti for months!! When I walked they glitter like millions of stars around my feet and people even stop me to ask where I got them! My boyfriend even called me Michael Jackson when I was wearing them. Men just don't understand women's fashion... Thank you so much to all my friends who went in on this: Francesca, Franck, Adeline, Julie, Mom, Féryelle and Mehdi, and a special thanks to Phi Diem for getting everyone together for this and organizing this wonderful gift!

I've had my eye on these Oliver Peoples for a few weeks because they are a special edition of the brand's original design from their 1987 debut collection. Even the lenses are vintage! Thank you to my anonymous gift giver!!
