******Shourouk in Gossip Girl******

Gossip Girl is your one and only source into the scandalous lives of Manhattan's elite...
Even if we don't want to admit it, we all know that it features the two bffs Serena and Blair rocking their queendom (i.e New York) in their Louboutin stilettos and Alexander Wang dresses, their chaotic love triangle with Nate, Dan and Chuck and their day-to-day family dramas.
We hate to love those Upper Eastsiders!

Anywayyyy....You'd better open your eyes next Monday to see Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) with our Dita Shanghai bag in Episode 14/ Season 4!!!

Paris, je t'M : Making of

Yesterday my friend Sonitta came to my workshop to make a video report for her show  "Paris je t'M", broadcasted on O Tv, a lebanese channel.

Sonitta is the first journalist that interviewed me on the radio. With her new program she opens the doors of Paris, world capital of luxury, to the Lebanese and Arab viewers.
The theme of the report was an insight of  love and Valentine's day in Paris together with Guerlain and the restaurant 39 V . It should be released in February ( I'll keep you posted, that's for sure!!).

Here are some pics from the shooting

They talked about it in Italy...

BABA BLING, domestic signs of prosperity in Singapore

The Musée Branly offers us once again a brilliant insight on the South East Asian cultures with its exhibition on the Peranakan

Peranakan means in Malay " locally born" and designate the descendants of Chinese traders that drawn by commerce settled in Malaysia and married local women. Those alliances created a unique hybrid culture fueled with influences from Europe, China, Malaysia and India: the Peranakan culture.

Left: Family picture/ Right: The newly weds

Typical lounge

The biggest embroidered with pearls tablecloth known, the pattern and the colors were supposed to be a good omen for newly weds.

Kebaya, traditional women outfit

The exhibition was so inspiring. The work of embroidery, the outfits, the ornament  were really detailed and rich, definitely worth the visit!

A special big up to Jacques (Chirac of course), yeah let's give to Caesar what is Caesar's: he is the one who had the idea to create a museum focused on foreign cultures and civilizations.
Plus I love the architecture, it's pretty audacious to have built such a contemporary building for a totally traditional theme. It reminds me of Centre Pompidou.

So run, run to the Musée Branly this weekend... The exhibition will be over on the 30th of Jan!
